The blend’s reputation comes from three distinct evidence records.
Published studies
Study What was tested Result Status
Bishop et al., 1992, J Vasc Surg Topical GHK-Cu cream vs placebo in 86 venous leg ulcer patients No difference from placebo Published RCT
Miller et al., 2006, Arch Facial Plast Surg Topical GHK-Cu after laser resurfacing in 13 patients No objective improvement; patient satisfaction improved Published RCT
2016 topical serum trial, 40 women GHK-Cu in nanocarrier serum vs control serum Reduced wrinkle depth and volume Published RCT
Lee & Burgess, 2025, Altern Ther Health Med IV BPC-157 in two healthy adults No adverse effects at 10 mg and 20 mg Published pilot, uncontrolled
Biçer et al., 2026, Jt Dis Relat Surg BPC-157, TB-500, and combination in 32 rat Achilles tenotomies TB-500 alone significantly improved failure load and histology; BPC-157 alone not significant; combination not better than TB-500 alone Published animal study
Rahaman et al., 2024, J Chromatogr B TB-500 metabolism in vitro and in rats Rapid breakdown to Ac-LKKTE; parent effects “not documented” Published analytical study
Read the Biçer study twice
It is the closest thing to a GLOW test so far. The study injected two of the three components (BPC-157 and TB-500 at a 1:6 ratio, not GLOW’s 1:1) intraperitoneally in rats, and found the combination group differed significantly on only one histological score, with no other significant differences. This does not prove the blend works, but it is the only related study.
Registered but no results
Trial What it tests Status
NCT07437586 Topical GHK-Cu gel vs vehicle in 60 subjects Recruiting; primary completion expected Feb 2027
NCT07487363 TB-500 cardiovascular biomarkers in stable atherosclerotic disease Recruiting since Feb 5, 2026; primary completion expected Feb 2027
Neither tests the blend, and the first-ever human TB-500 trial measures cardiac biomarkers, not tendons.
What has not been published
Nothing about the blend itself. No pharmacokinetic study, no interaction study, no dose-finding study, no safety series, no registered trial. The “synergy” described on supplier pages is a concept only.
Evidence grades
Component Best human evidence Controllable after injection Grade
GHK-Cu Three topical RCTs, mixed results No C
BPC-157 Two-person IV safety pilot No C
TB-500 Borrowed from full-length thymosin beta-4 No D
GLOW blend None No —
Three weak evidence records in one vial do not add up to one strong record. They add up to three weak records plus one unknown: what happens when the three are combined.
Conclusion
Each component of GLOW has its own research background, but the blend itself is unverified. Understanding evidence grades matters more than believing in “synergy.”
